Volunteer Opportunities

Need volunteer work hours? Just want to contribute to the community? The City of Garwin or any of it's local non-profit organizations may have something for you to do. 

Here is a short list of ideas for volunteer work:

• Paint fire hydrants
• Pull weeds
• Pick up branches/twigs in the park
• Help with community events

BE AN EMT VOLUNTEER!!!

Garwin Ambulance needs your help!  If you’ve ever considered becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) the city of Garwin will pay for your class!  Or, if you are currently and EMT or Registered Nurse (RN) we could use your help as well.  You can call at 641-499-2307, email at [email protected], or just stop in between 10AM-3PM Monday through Friday.

The ambulance crew needs your help! Classes are filling up quickly so please take action for your community by November 17^th.
