SANITATION

The City of Garwin contracts with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling. Everyone within the community is required to have garbage collection and all residential customers are required to have recycling collection.

Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside with your regular garbage service days. If assistance is needed or you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

For questions specific to trash or recycling pick up, please call the waste management company directly.

RECYCLING

There are recyling bins on the west end of Main St., on the curve as you go south of town on Hwy T-47. There are bins for paper/cardboard, tin, plastic & glass. This service is paid by the City of Garwin and is FREE for the Garwin residents to use.

All that we ask is that the residents are respectful by not disposing of items other than what the bins are to be used for. Do not dispose of any garbage & please break down the cardboard boxes before placing them in the recycling bin.
