Parks Programs
Having fun, meeting your neighbors and making new friends is what living in the City of Garwin is all about. Throughout the year, the City of Garwin Parks and Recreation Departments offers a variety of programs to all our citizens.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
In the summer months of June, July & August there is FREE Wednesday Night Entertainment music in the park. Bring your whole family & listen to the music, visit with friends and let the children play. The local churches sell burgers, chips, drinks & homeade desserts.
GARWIN FREEDOM DAYS
The first Saturday of July, there is a schedule of events that last all day long in the Downtown City Park. There is something for everyone of all ages, from a Tractor Show & Parade, Antique Power Engines, Music in the Park, Hog Roast & entainment for the kids. As time gets closer a schedule of events will be posted.
